HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) The major traffic artery linking New England with New York will be closed in Connecticut for days after a tanker fire damaged a bridge over Interstate 95, Gov. Ned Lamont said Thursday.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) Authorities say one person was taken into custody early Thursday morning following an alleged police raid at a home along Old Hickory Lane, in Upper Yoder Township. Officials say the arrest was part of an investigation by the state attorney general's office.

JOHNSTOWN - A small portion of Cambria County is without power. Nearly 6,000 customers in Cambria Country were without power in Conemaugh Township, Johnstown, Ferndale, Dale, Lorain, Geistown, Stonycreek Township and Richland Township, among other areas.

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) People in Somerset County will have to find an alternative way to recycle. This comes after the county commissioners made the choice to suspend their recycling program, effective March 13.

PITTSBURGH (WJAC) The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded wide-receiver Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers. NFL Insider Adam Schefter announced the trade Tuesday night. The Steelers will receive defensive-back Donte Jackson in return, and the two teams will swap 2024 draft picks.
