Bellefonte, Benner areas to 'cut-ties' with CATA by next year

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) Mass transit services in the Bellefonte area will be changing this summer but now there is word that those changes could be happening earlier than expected and the transit program for this year is expected to change again next year.

A Cambria County business brought blood pressure screenings and vaccinations to the community Wednesday. Best Way Pizza in Ebensburg hosted the event. Different vaccinations provided included tetanus, COVID, pneumonia and shingles shots.

Physician assistant among 2 charged in prescription drugs case

CLEARFIELD - A medical physician assistant and a Clearfield County man were charged by the Pennsylvania Attorney General for conspiring in a prescription drug arrangement. Holly Jean Hipps, 41, of Olanta, and Dennis Lingle, 60, of Clearfield, are facing several felony counts including conspiracy, acquiring or obtaining possession of controlled substance by misrepresentation and administration

St. Marys shoe store collecting socks for troops

ST. MARYS - A shoe store in St. Marys is making sure veterans and active-military members have warm feet this winter. As of Nov. 27, Shoe Sensation's Socks for Troops program has collected nearly 4,000 pairs of socks and 585 shoelaces for local veterans and active-duty military overseas nationally.
